ABOUT CHARLIZE MEYER-THOMAS
Actor, Dancer, Singer, Rhythmic Gymnast, Model, Presenter
Charlize is an actor, singer, dancer, model and is also an internationally competing rhythmic gymnast. She was born into an entertainment industry family. From 6 weeks old Charlize was accompanying her mother on extensive tours with large scale productions, across Australia and internationally. Highly talented artists surrounded Charlize from a very young age, and it was this influence that has led her to love the performing arts.

Charlize is also training in many dance, styles, singing, acrobatics and drama at the May Downs School of Dance. Charlize is also at the Australian Ballet School in the ITP program Level 2.
Charlize's on-screen debut was in 2014 (at 5 years old) when Director Juan Sebastian Mosquera Calle cast her in the film 'Transactions'. Charlize next played the emotional role of Jasmyn in "Too Late" directed by Jerry Farsoun from Overdownunder. A short film tackling issues surrounding suicide and its prevention. Following this, Charlize went on to act in a string of short films. Young Silvy in 'A Static Wind" [Dir. Issac Elliott], Jane in "We Go To The Gallery" [Dir. Mathilda Xiao], and Lucy in "7 Storeys Down" [Dir. Phoenix Raei]. In 2017, Charlize played Young Emma in "Method" the TV Series seen on 9GO (Episode 3) [Dir. Tawni Byant & Jerome Velsinky]. More recently, Charlize starred as the lead actor in the short film "Shapes" as Amelia [Dir. Druhv Suri] and played the role of Lucia in "Taboo" [Dir. Olivia Altavilla].
Charlize has also been seen in "Proud to be a Princess" an online campaign for the Disney Channel and 2019 Back to School Officeworks TVC. She is currently the hero girl in a TVC for Auskick as well as being one of several children that appeared in the "You're not Drinking Alone" TVC campaign [Dir. Matt Weston for Riot Content] during lockdown and Covid 19.

In 2018, Charlize was a catwalk model for Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival RUN the runway. As the Face of the VAMFF Kids Runway, she appeared on several billboard campaigns and walked the runway in Valmax, Review, Disney, Petit Amelie, House of Emmerson and Catamini. Previously she had modelled for MFF in 2015 and 2016 for Zimmerman, Ouch and Seed.
Charlize has also performed live in many large corporate events for many corporate clients such as Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Upper Point Cook Activation, City of Melbourne Xmas Tree Lighting Event.

Charlize trains in rhythmic gymnastics and won a Silver Medal at the 2018 Asia Pacific Cup International Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Tournament and a Gold Medal at the Total Gym International Gymnastics Tournament in 2019.
